Global venture firm and startup accelerator gener8tor is launching gALPHA Arkansas, a free venture-creation workshop for entrepreneurs and ideators building businesses in the state of Arkansas, in partnership with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC).
gALPHA Arkansas is a four-week program that provides participants with hands-on coaching, practical workshops, and community-building activities focused on launching or refining business ideas and scalable ventures.
Through the partnership, gener8tor will seek applicants from across Arkansas to participate in the program supporting participants who are ideating or building innovative companies in Arkansas.
No previous startup experience is required. Through one-on-one coaching, mentorship, and interactive workshops, participants gain clarity on their target customer, build a minimum viable product or explore venture scaling.
“Arkansas entrepreneurs are developing new ideas and innovative businesses across the state – and they need resources and mentorship to build new companies,” said Clint O’Neal, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. “With the gALPHA and gBETA Arkansas programs, gener8tor will provide essential resources and connections necessary for Arkansas entrepreneurs to thrive, and we look forward to a successful partnership that grows our state’s entrepreneurship opportunities.”
Together, AEDC and gener8tor aim to strengthen the state’s entrepreneurship ecosystem by connecting entrepreneurs with the networks, expertise and capital necessary to grow and scale.
In Fall 2026, gener8tor will launch the gBETA Arkansas program, a free, seven-week, no-equity accelerator for startups based in Arkansas.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission to launch gALPHA and gBETA Arkansas,” said Vanessa Huerta, gBETA Vice President and Partner at gener8tor. “Arkansas has a phenomenal entrepreneurship ecosystem, and we’re excited to support founders with the tools, mentorship and connections needed to help their companies succeed.”
Mary Beth Breshears joined the gener8tor team in April to serve as Program Manager for the inaugural gBETA Arkansas and gALPHA Arkansas programs. Breshears brings a multidisciplinary background in entrepreneurship support, curriculum development, creative leadership, and community engagement.
Details on the gBETA Arkansas program will be announced at a later date.
gALPHA Arkansas will begin sourcing applicants immediately. The program will be hosted virtually, to allow access to participants across the state.
The inaugural gALPHA Arkansas program will begin June 17. Startup founders with questions or interest in applying are encouraged to reach out to Mary Beth Breshears at [email protected].
