Lorde hints at new album release following ‘Virgin’ success

Lorde dropped major clue about her new album amid the success of her hit album Virgin.

The album was released earlier this year in June, four years after the Solar Power album.

In an interview with Variety, the Team singer revealed if she sees herself making new music in future.

“I mean, I’m excited to find out,” she said. “I’m definitely feeling very active and not needing a break from being creative. I’m feeling kind of insatiable, to be honest.”

Elsewhere, the Royals singer further explained idea behind her Virgin album describing it as “very raw and unadorned, I really tried not to dramatize or dress anything up, so I knew that approach had to continue over to the tour.”

She also shared what she learned from her tour, adding, “My big take away from that was like, ‘You need to go and do some dance’. Because I felt not very in my body and I knew that it needed to be this freer, rawer movement.”

Lorde continued, “And then it ended up being rawer than that, but I did spend a lot of time just trying to like get into these songs on a physical level.”

Lorde’s studio albums and Eps are available to stream on music platforms.
