Miley Cyrus’ childhood dream has just come true as she got her official Barbie doll.
Following the pop star’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Mattel, a toy producing company just released the “Barbie Signature Miley Cyrus Doll.”
Miley took to her Instagram account to gush over her own Barbie doll and showed off her Barbie doll collection.
“Barbie represents a personal dream of mine. She’s something I’ll never outgrow as she evolves with me,” Miley wrote.
“As an adult, I treasure my collection and I never take out of the box. Holding my Barbie in my hands is a true full circle moment.”
“Now you have a little piece of me and every time you hold her, I hope you’re reminded that I’m rooting for you to chase your own dreams too,” she concluded.
Mattel told the vision behind Miley’s doll in a statement to Billboard, that reads, “(It) celebrates the transformative sound and cultural footprint she has made as a musician, actress and advocate for self-expression.”
The Disney alum also shared her sentiment in a video shared by the outlet after she saw the Barbie doll for the first time.
“I’m obsessed,” Miley raved. “Love her! All the details were so thoughtful and so important. Every little piece of this design was a dream, down to the shape of the shoe, the look, the leather jacket, the belt, the hair dimension, the sunglasses.”
The singer praised the detail of adding a microphone, noting, “That was very important to me that music stays the priority for me and for my purpose, and so having this microphone is so representative of not just the music but using your voice.”
Miley’s doll “dressed in custom Alaïa for Golden Burning Sun” is available for fans to purchase.
