Julia Roberts is gushing over her pal George Clooney’s life as a father of two.
In a recent chat with Variety, the 58-year-old actress talked about seeing George becoming a dad to his twins, Alexander and Ella, whom he welcomed with his wife Amal Clooney.
Julia said that it brings her “so much joy” to see her friend navigating parenthood.
“This chapter of George’s life fills me with so much joy,” Julia told the outlet for their profile on the Jay Kelly actor,
“Amal is an absolute rock star. I could never conjure up a dream girl like this for George, and to watch him with his kids is so special.”
George himself opened up about his relationship with his eight-year-old twins, revealing that his kids “still dig” him.
But “that’s gonna change, as you know,” he shared in an episode of the New Heights podcast earlier in December.
In response, podcast cohost Jason Kelce joked that the “teenage years are coming.”
“It’s coming, man. And I’m telling you, dude, it’s like, even at [8 years old], I’ve got, like, my daughter rolling her eyes now, which is a new thing,” George added. “Like, I’d say, like, ‘Hey, you know, your dad’s a big star,’ and she just rolls her eyes.”
