Sharing my full thoughts on the Lumebox and if I think it’s worth it! If you’ve been wanting to add one to your collection, check it out here – they’re 50% off through tonight which is their biggest sale of the year!

Hi friends! How are you? I hope you’re having an amazing week. It’s a busy one around here – we have rehearals for the symphony all week – and I was able to sneak away for a juice date with a friend in between strategy calls.

For today’s post, I wanted to share an updated Lumebox review now that I’ve been using it for a few months. It’s been one of my favorite things to stack into my morning wellness routine, and I love it even more than I thought I would.

Here’s what my current routine looks like:

    – Eye care routine

    – Get the kids packed up and off to school

    – Breakfast – almost always a protein pudding with Daily Nutritional Support, Truvani, Nuttzo and berries + decaf Danger Coffee

    – Recharge time: sit on the PEMF mat (code FITNESSISTA15) with my Lumebox, meditate for about 10 minutes, and journal for about 5 minutes

It’s only a 15-minute routine but really makes a difference in my mood and energy for the rest of the day! Here are some more details about Lumebox.

    What Is Lumebox?

Lumebox is a compact and powerful red light therapy device designed for at-home use and travel, because it’s portable. It delivers targeted red and near-infrared (NIR) light to support skin health, muscle recovery, and overall well-being. It’s beautifully designed with medical-grade LED technology, and is super easy to use.

    Key Features of Lumebox

Dual Wavelength Technology: Combines red light (660nm) and near-infrared light (850nm) for deeper penetration and enhanced benefits.

Portable and Lightweight: Small enough to use on the go but powerful enough for full treatment sessions.

Timer Function: It automatically shuts off after 6 minutes.

Low EMF Emission: Designed for safe use with minimal electromagnetic field exposure.

USB Charging: Convenient and rechargeable for wireless use.

Handle! This makes it super easy to hold.

How Red Light Therapy Can Benefit You

Red light therapy has been widely studied and shown to potentially support multiple areas of health, including:

Skin Health: Can reduce fine lines, wrinkles, acne, and hyperpigmentation by stimulating collagen production.

Muscle Recovery: Can speed up post-workout recovery and reduces inflammation.

Pain Relief: Can help alleviate joint pain, muscle soreness, and stiffness by promoting circulation and reducing inflammation.

Hormonal Balance: May support adrenal health and reduce stress-related inflammation.

Sleep and Mood Support: Can enhance melatonin production and helps regulate circadian rhythms.

    How to Use Lumebox

Using Lumebox is simple and only takes few minutes per day:

Ensure the treatment area is clean and dry.

Hold or place the device 6–12 inches from the target area.

Decide if you want to use red light, or NIR (which isn’t visible and used for deeper skin penetration), or both

Let the red and NIR light work its magic while you unwind.

For best results, use 3–5 times per week.

    How Much Does Lumebox Cost?

The Lumebox device is priced at around $629. While it is an investment, it is significantly more affordable than in-office red light therapy sessions, which can range from $50–$150 per session. Right now, it’s 50% off, which is their best deal of the whole year. If you’ve been wanting one, I’d snag it up!

    Pros and Cons of Lumebox

    Pros:

    Compact and travel-friendly

Effective red and near-infrared light wavelengths

Easy to use with adjustable intensity

    Affordable compared to professional treatments

Helps with skin, muscle recovery, and overall health

    Cons:

May take a few weeks to see noticeable results

Not as powerful as larger, full-body red light panels

Higher upfront cost compared to some other at-home devices

I absolutely love it and have found it to be helpful for mood, aches, and pains. I feel pretyy great (knock on wood) but after teaching multiple barre classes, my hips were aching. I used the Lumebox and they were good as new the next day 😉 While it may not replace high-end, full-body panels, I think it provides an effective solution for friends out there seeking skin, muscle recovery, and overall health benefits from red light therapy.

We use the Lumebox for headaches, period cramps, stomachaches, skin healing (wound recovery), and Maisey loves it, too. She snuggles up as soon as I get it out!

Should you wear eye protection with Lumebox?

There are some studies indicating that red light can be beneficial for eye health but from what I can tell, it’s not an approved eye treatment. At the same time, you guys know I’m super weird and protective of my eyes ever since the great eye saga. Also, even if red light directly into your eyeballs is approved, I won’t be the first one standing in line to try it. I don’t wear the eye protection, but I also don’t stare into the light. I hold it at about a 45 degree angle so it’s not shining directly into my face. It also includes protective goggles you can wear.

If you’ve been wanting to try Lumebox, today is the day. Check it out here – it’s 50% off through tonight!! I hope you love it as much as I do.

Have you tried Lumebox or another red light therapy device? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

    xoxo

    Gina

More of my red light faves: the red light face mask, red light neck enhancer, and red light cap.
