There was more European action on Sunday with some big clashes across the continent.

Spain’s LaLiga saw the big clash of the weekend in El Clásico, with leaders Real Madrid taking on Barcelona. And Madrid won 2-1 as goals from Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham, amid a host of overturned VAR calls, a penalty and a red card, saw them move five points clear at the top.

In the Premier League, leaders Arsenal went four points clear with a tight 1-0 win over Crystal Palace thanks to a goal from former Palace player Eberechi Eze, while Aston Villa edged past Manchester City 1-0.

Bournemouth moved up to second after a 2-0 win over struggling Nottingham Forest and Burnley beat Wolves 3-2 in a thriller, with yet another stoppage-time goal. In the late game, Tottenham Hotspur went to Everton and emerged with a 3-0 win.

Relive all the day’s action with ESPN.
