Is Nana Jacqueline worth the hype? Nana Jacqueline review

Nana Jacqueline has been on my radar for a while. Known for its ultra-feminine silhouettes and luxe fabrics, the brand is loved by style icons like Hailey Bieber and Ariana Grande and has become a staple across Instagram for its romantic, glamorous aesthetic. So when they reached out to gift me a couple of pieces and share a discount code with you I couldn’t say no. Their new “She Is Paris” collection feels like a love letter to timeless femininity: refined, romantic, and unapologetically glamorous. In this Nana Jacqueline review, I’m sharing my honest thoughts on the quality, fit, and feel of the pieces I wore and whether this collection truly lives up to its effortless Parisian-chic reputation. Spoiler, I haven’t gushed this much about a brand in a while!

This Nana Jacqueline review article contains gifted items and affiliate links which I may earn a commission from if you choose to shop through them.

Nana Jacqueline review | First impressions

My first impression was the high quality and attention to detail. From the well sewn on crystal buttons to the fully lined velvet skirt with built in shorts for modesty, freedom to move, and to give it volume. Oh and it has pockets! The second thing I noticed was how well it fit my proportions, from the arm length to how low the cut out was. I was worried it might be too revealing with my curves but it was perfection. Nana Jacqueline knows how to tread the thin line of sexy yet elegant while making you feel completely confident in their clothing.

Does Nana Jacqueline clothing run true to size

No, generally their pieces run small. So definitely read the ‘Size and Fit’ description on each piece. As a lot of them say for the best fit, they suggest ordering one size larger than your regular size. Which I did in both the skirt and top. I’d normally order an XS and I ordered a small top which fit perfectly and small skirt which was a little big but I liked that it sat low on my hips to make the skirt a bit longer.

Who is the owner of Nana Jacqueline?

Nana Jacqueline was founded by two best friends in Los Angeles, CA; Jacqueline Zhang (Creative Director of Nana Jacqueline) and Nana Li. Once a loungewear label, the brand has evolved into a romantic, feminine, luxury brand that’s loved by celebrities and fashion editors worldwide for it’s old Hollywood glamour.

We draw a lot of inspiration from our ultimate fashion icons, Jackie Kennedy, Princess Diana & Audrey Hepburn. They are beyond their time & we are constantly referencing their perfected style. We also love to reference wardrobe in old Hollywood films. Jacqueline Zhang

    Is Nana Jacqueline fast fashion?

No, Nana Jacqueline is a women’s luxury label based in Los Angeles, CA that prioritizes sustainability and ethical practices. A lot of their sustainably designed pieces have been designed to be long-lasting, and mixed and matched to get the most wear possible. They use eco-friendly materials wherever possible, use fair labor practices, and ethical production methods that minimize waste and promote responsible consumption.

    Final thoughts

Count me in as a new fan of Nana Jacqueline. Yes it’s a luxury brand with prices to match but you’re investing in pieces you can wear year after year. The pieces made me personally feel timelessly elegant and feminine while still feeling fresh and on trend.

Styling tips: To get more wear from these specific pieces I’d style the Isabella Knit Top with jeans, black or white pants, or even tailored black or white shorts for the day. Then the Isabella Velvet Mini Skirt I’d style with a bodysuit and blazer for the day, or a sexy top like their Blair Velvet Top for the evening. These are pieces that will live on repeat which makes them better value. I’m all about the cost per wear.

    What celebrities wear Nana Jacqueline?

Nana Jacqueline has become a favorite among those who love old-Hollywood elegance with a modern edge. Celebrities seen wearing the brand include Hailey Bieber, Ariana Grande, Blackpink members, Christine Quinn, Rosie Zhao, Brooks Nader, Gabi DeMartino, Kendall Jenner, Yoyo Cao, Yifei Liu, Mi Yang, Lusi Zhao, and Amanda Steele.

    Shop Nana Jacqueline

If you’re looking for elevated essentials, this brand is one to watch. For something more fashion-forward, the Resolve Collection is filled with rich brown suede pieces which are one of the biggest trends of the season. I’m especially obsessed with the Celine Suede Coat styled with the Margo Suede Skirt featuring a luxe gold belt. The Audrey coat in pink (also available in black and white if you prefer neutrals), the Angelica Velvet Maxi Dress for New Year’s Eve, and the Blaire Velvet Top are all also on my wish list. As much as I’d love to, I won’t be buying them all at once (my credit card wouldn’t be too happy) but these are definitely at the top of my list for future splurges.
