Kim Kardashian wins lawsuit filed by New York man

A person named Ivan Cantu took Kim Kardashian to court in 2025, alleging emotional distress.

He accused the reality star of public ridicule and reputational harm over a post she previously shared.

Cantu alleged that Kardashian’s post on social media for a campaign identified him as a person who is on death row in Texas.

She deleted the post soon, calling it a mistake, but the plaintiff claimed the damage was done.

However, the judge wasn’t buying it, tossing out the case.

This turned a lawsuit nightmare for Kardashian into an electric victory.

According to TMZ, the court awarded the fashion mogul $167,000 in attorney’s fees.

Cantu was reportedly devastated by the judgement, stating the six-figure sum would deal a big blow to his finances.

Kim Kardashian helped former death row inmate

A lifelong supporter of reforms of criminal justice, Kim Kardashian has covered the bail of Richard Gossip.

He is a former death row inmate.

Gossip was almost 30 years in prison for an alleged murder of motel owner Barry Van Treese in 1997.

    Kardashian paid 10% of the ex-prisoner’s whopping $500,000 bail, i.e., $50,000.

Gossip, in an emotional state after walking free, thanked his wife and legal team.
