Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s nasty legal battle has finally come to an end, but sources claim the defining moment didn’t happen in court.
It happened at home, with Ryan Reynolds pushing to finish it.
“Ryan saw the full picture early,” one insider told Naughty But Nice. “He knew the longer this dragged on, the more it would erode everything — her career, her reputation, even their closest relationships.”
Blake’s inner circle believes that the case stopped being purely legal and became deeply personal.
“It wasn’t about winning anymore — it was about proving she was right,” explained the source. “She couldn’t see how much it was costing her in real time.”
Insider added that the fallout rippled through her inner circle and damaged her industry ties.
As per the source, Ryan pushed the actress to end her legal battle with Justin.
“She had already lost too much — professionally, personally, publicly. The one thing she refused to lose was her marriage,” the confidant said.
Now, Blake and Justin have officially reached a settlement, ending their bitter feud.
The dispute between the two began in December 2024 when Blake filed a sexual-harassment complaint against Justin.
The trial on the lawsuit was set to begin on May 18.
