Rogers-based retail sales agency Harvest Group recently received an investment from Denver-based Mountaingate Capital to support Harvest Group’s growth and continued investment in technology, analytics and integrated commerce capabilities, according to a news release.
The new investment followed the exit of Little Rock-based Natural Capital as a Harvest Group investor. The investment amounts of both companies were not disclosed.
Founded in 2006, Harvest Group provides retail brands with services such as account management, digital content management, retail media strategy and replenishment support. The brands are selling to retailers, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target and Amazon.
Natural Capital invested in Harvest Group in 2023 and partnered with Ross Cully, founder and CEO of Harvest Group, and its leadership team to support the company’s growth. During Natural Capital’s investment period, Harvest Group continued to expand its integrated commerce platform and technology capabilities. It also strengthened relationships with retailers and consumer brands, grew organically and worked to deepen its service offerings.
“As a bootstrap founder, I was nervous about bringing on a financial partner,” Cully said. “I could not have asked for a better partner than Natural Capital. They were incredibly founder friendly, rolled up their sleeves and supported our team when we needed it, understood our industry, respected our culture and shared our values. Having their experienced presence on our board helped Harvest Group scale wisely over the last three years because they are operators themselves. Because of our positive experience with Natural Capital we have greater confidence as we move forward with our new financial partner for the next leg of our journey.”
Natural Capital is focused on supporting growth-stage companies and real estate investments in Northwest Arkansas and the central United States.
“We are proud to have partnered with Ross and the Harvest Group team during a period of significant growth for the company,” said Brad Henry, managing partner of Natural Capital. “Harvest Group reflects the type of opportunity we seek: strong leadership, differentiated capabilities, and a clear path to long-term value creation. Ross and the Harvest team have built an exceptional organization, and we are grateful for the partnership and execution that led to this successful outcome.”
Harvest Group has more than 250 employees with offices in Rogers, Cincinnati and Minneapolis.
