Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to tie the knot tomorrow, on February 26. The actors, unlike other famous couples, confirmed their nuptials a few days prior to their wedding. By confirming their wedding, they have given fans the ‘happily ever after’ they’ve been rooting for since their first outing, Geetha Govindam. They will be getting married at Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur, which is located around 25 km from Udaipur.

Celebrations are already underway, and guests have been seen reaching Udaipur to attend the wedding. The couple themselves have already reached the venue on Tuesday. In the morning, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were photographed leaving Hyderabad for Udaipur with Vijay’s brother Anand Deverakonda and a small group of friends in tow. They’ve also been posting glimpses from the much-talked-about ‘Virosh’ wedding.

Among their close friends, actor Eesha Rebba and filmmaker Tharun Bhascker, who worked with Vijay Deverakonda on Pelli Choopulu, travelled together and have been giving fans a peek into the Udaipur festivities. Stylist Shravya Varma, a close friend of the couple, was also spotted at the airport ahead of the celebrations.

Along with the decor and outfits, fans are eagerly looking forward to the food being served during the wedding festivities. From Japanese-themed dinners to poolside games and more, here’s what we know about the food being served at this momentous event till now.

The festivities began with an Indian breakfast spread, according to a source who told NDTV that the sangeet and mehendi ceremonies took place on February 24. The day has begun with a lavish Indian breakfast, featuring an elaborate spread of classic dishes, NDTV confirmed.

While the full wedding dinner menu has not yet been officially revealed, reports suggest that guests may be treated to elements of South Indian hospitality. However, we have gleaned some information.

According to a report by DNA, before the wedding, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda personally tasted the food and chose the dishes. The insider shares, “Dishes for the wedding festivities were personally tasted and approved by Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, ensuring every detail of the menu reflects their personal favourites and adds a special touch to the celebrations.”

“Guests at Rashmika-Vijay’s wedding are likely to experience a touch of South Indian tradition, with meals served on banana leaves and coconut water being specially arranged as part of the hospitality,” according to another source, who told Bollywood Hungama. Serving food on banana leaves is a traditional practice at many South Indian weddings, symbolising prosperity and auspicious beginnings. Similarly, coconut water is often associated with purity and welcome.

As part of their pre-wedding festivities, the couple enjoyed a formal Japanese dinner along with their guests. Rashmika shared a photo of the beautifully set dinner table, followed by a closer look at the Japanese menu. The table was decorated in pastel greens and pinks, featuring fresh flowers, green apples, grapes, pearl-studded placemats and a neatly folded green napkin embroidered with ‘#virosh’ in pink.

This dinner was then followed by a fun volleyball match at the poolside. Vijay Deverakonda gave fans a sneak peek into the pre-wedding fun by sharing a moment from a pool volleyball game. The setup even included a floating drinks tray stocked with disposable cups and refreshing beverages, adding a playful touch to the festivities.
