There’s a lot happening at and around Semaphore Beach, these photographs are a snapshot from January 2025. There’s rides for children and adults and a plethora of restaurants and shops just opposite the beach (a great, traditional, fish and chips place and also ice-cream). As with any beach, it can get cold and windy, depending on the time of the year and the time of day. Also, keep a lookout for shark sightings and warnings.
Most of the photographs on this feature have been photographed on the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, but some DSLR images are also present.
The images were photographed over two days. The second day, when the sunset was especially spectacular, I was not carrying my DSLR with me – of course! Lots of beautiful sunset photos below.
