    Gold prices surged in both local and international markets, with the per tola rate rising by Rs3,400 to reach Rs469,562.

    The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs2,915, closing at Rs402,573.

    According to market sources, the rise comes amid increased global demand and fluctuations in international gold rates.

    The international gold price increased by $34, reaching $4,472 per ounce.
