Veja’s newest sneaker collaboration is on its way.
Next month, the footwear brand will release and updated take on its Panenka sneaker with Magliano, the Italian fashion brand founded by Luca Magliano.
Inspired by vintage football boots, this unisex shoe features a folded tongue over the upper, reminiscent of classic cleat styles. Crafted from a single piece, this perforated flap allows for asymmetric lacing. Three pairs of laces, included with the shoes, offer a graphic play of interwoven colors.
This was done as a “nod to contrasts,” which are dear to Magliano – a way to “blend function and eccentricity, in a style that merges sport and couture,” the company noted.
This new Made in Brazil design comes in three colorways including a deep black version with cream accents, a white edition with black contrasts, and a bold pearlescent pink silhouette. The style also stays true to Veja’s commitment to use responsible materials in its shoes.

The upper and side panels are made from 100 percent organic traced leather, while the insole consists of a bio-based EVA made from sugar cane. Other materials used in the production of this sneaker include Amazonian rubber, mineral silica, recycled polyester and cotton.
The Magliano x Veja Panenka sneaker, which retails for $240, is now available on both company’s websites.
This is the latest collaboration from Veja following the January release with Japanese clothing brand CFCL. Revealed as part of CFCL’s spring 2026 collection at Paris Fashion Week, the collaborative V-90 sneaker marked the Japanese brand’s first time teaming up with another B Corp-certified company.

As for Magliano, the company showed at Paris Fashion Week Men’s for the first time in January, marking a symbolic shift for a brand that has spent nearly a decade rooted in Milan while quietly building an international following.
According to the brand’s designer Luca Magliano, the move is less about prestige than perspective. “We didn’t want to be geographic anymore,” he told WWD at the time, noting how Italian brands are often viewed through a local lens. Showing in Paris reflects his desire “to meet new people, create new communities,” and to place the brand in what he described as a broader professional landscape that the brand is ready for.
