    Erica Banks, whose government name is Erica Breaux, has reportedly been arrested on a drug distribution charge in Georgia.

    Erica Breaux Is Reportedly Arrested In Georgia

    According to WSB-TV, Erica Banks was arrested by Brookhaven police on Monday, December 8, around 2:59 p.m. Per the outlet, the rapper was taken into custody after being pulled over during a traffic stop on Buford Highway. Per CBS News, details remain unclear about “what led to the traffic stop and circumstances of the arrest.” However, TMZ reports that the car she was found riding passenger seat in was reportedly stolen, and it caught the police’s attention due to its tinted tag covering dealer plates. The driver, reportedly identified as Amani Dirton, was also removed from the vehicle.

    More On Erica Banks’ Reported Drug Distribution Charge

    Per the outlets, Banks was taken into custody and charged with “possession of a Schedule or II controlled substance with intent to distribute.”  At this time, Banks’ booking record indicates that she was reportedly found in possession of ecstasy. Per TMZ, officers found the substance in the rapper’s purse and discovered marijuana on Dirton.

    Furthermore, per TMZ, Dirton was “charged with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and [improperly] displayed license plate.”

    Social Media Reacts As Erica Banks Was Recently Arrested For Reportedly Having A Stolen Gun

    As The Shade Room previously reported, Erica Banks was arrested in August. This, for allegedly having a gun while going through security at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. She reportedly told officers she was unaware of the item. Then, a search reportedly revealed that the weapon was stolen. She was ultimately charged with “theft by receiving stolen property.”

    With this in mind, social media users slid into TSR’s comment section to remark on the rapper’s latest arrest.

    Instagram user @___xquisite wrote, “Girl That’s For Boys…What Is You Doing 🥴”

    While Instagram user @slaywithdre added, “.. Damn she a rapper, a stripper and the plug. She tryna win hustler of the year or something !! Free her tho !!”

    Instagram user @nie_xxo wrote, “I hate when pretty girls do boy crime 😔😭”

    While Instagram user @1kiaram added, “BUSTED BUSTED or whatever she say 😭”

    Per CBS News, Banks was released from custody after her latest arrest. TMZ has reportedly reached out to her, but has yet to receive a comment.
