Miley Cyrus rings in 33 with lowkey celebration

Miley Cyrus marked her 33rd birthday on Sunday with a low-key celebration and a heartfelt message to fans.

The Grammy winner, who turned 33 on November 23, shared black-and-white photos on Instagram the same day of what appeared to be an intimate dinner with close friends.

“33 is already burning bright thanks to the warmth of your sweet birthday wishes,” she wrote. “All I want this year is more laughs with the people who give me the little smile lines that are starting to show up. I love you all.”

The post quickly drew heartwarming messages from her inner circle. Selena Gomez commented, “HAPPIEST OF BDAYS!!” while her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, added, “Happy birthday Smiley Miley!”

The Flowers hitmaker has been candid lately about embracing change, even the possibility of eventually stepping away from celebrity life.

Speaking with Pamela Anderson for CR Fashion Book in September, she reflected on the career she chose at age 11.

“I made this deep commitment, and I never questioned it,” she said. But she acknowledged that her relationship with fame could shift. “I’m not afraid of the day it’s no,” she added. “There could be a season where all of this no longer interests me, and that’s okay.”
