Ariana Madix went for a deep red monochrome look by Cult Gaia for a special screening of Aziz Ansari’s new film “Good Fortune” in New York. The event was held at the AMC Lincoln Square 13 on Monday, and the “Love Island” host’s look followed a floral motif down to her sandals.

Madix stepped out on the red carpet wearing the Cult Gaia Cassidy sandal in a merlot red. The delicate shoe, which retails for $698, was a sculptural heeled flower sandal with a calla lily structural detail that sits across the vamp, on top of a strap that goes over the toes.

The shoe balanced on a stiletto heel measuring about four inches that is slightly flared at the bottom. The sandals are held in place with a stem-like strap that starts at the bottom of the flower detail and then wraps around the foot and over the ankle, creating a backless design around the heel.

The heels are available in a gold metallic leather, white and a beige, green and tan style that follows the natural colors of a calla lily. Madix paired the red pair with Cult Gaia’s Kaela floral appliqué knit dress. The pullover style dress featured an asymmetric neck, with long, slightly flared sleeves.

The intricate floral appliqué design is spread throughout the front of the minidress adding even more romance to the look. Selena Gomez wore the dress for an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” in September, pairing it with a pair of peep-toe Christian Louboutin sandals in red satin.

Madix stepped out with boyfriend Daniel Wai, whom she has been dating since March 2023. Wai dressed up in a black suit with ankle-length trousers, which he paired with an olive green polo shirt and a pair of black leather loafers that he wore without socks. The pair were in attendance to support Ansari’s feature directorial debut.

“Good Fortune” is a supernatural comedy starring Ansari, Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh and Keanu Reeves. The film follows an angel named Gabriel, played by Reeves, who loses his wings after attempting to show Arj, played by Ansari, a struggling man, that money isn’t everything by body swapping him with his wealthy boss Jeff, played by Rogen. The film is set to hit theaters on Friday.
