    I’ve been watching countless videos about vending machines as the perfect passive income stream, but after seeing a real-world experiment unfold, I can confidently say most people are selling a fantasy.     3. Reliable connectivity – Card readers need stable internet connections
    4. Maintenance support – Having someone who can quickly fix technical issues is essential
    5. No long-term contracts – Maintain flexibility to move machines if a location underperforms


    Caroline also discovered an unexpected revenue stream: selling location contracts. After deciding to abandon her first location, she sold the contract to another vending machine operator for $200. She then secured several more potential locations, which could generate an additional $1,200 in pure profit.
