Lauren Graham showed some love to her Gilmore Girls co-star Kelly Bishop.

On Sunday, July 27, Broadway icons gathered at New York’s Shubert Theatre to celebrate the 50th anniversary of A Chorus Line. Bishop, who originated the role of Sheila Bryant in the groundbreaking musical, received a touching tribute from her on-screen daughter, who introduced her during the special performance.

“It was beyond thrilling to get to introduce Ms. Kelly Bishop at the 50th Anniversary of A Chorus Line at the @shubertorg theater Sunday night,” Graham, 58, shared on Instagram along with a selfie with Bishop, 81.

“The performances were incredible, magical, inspiring! Also, this photo of us is wack because in real life Kelly is about 1/16 my size,” she added.

Bishop, now best known for her portrayal of the Gilmore matriarch, has had a storied career on stage and screen.

After A Chorus Line debuted in 1975 and later shattered records with over 6,000 performances, Bishop went on to star in classics like Dirty Dancing and, of course, Gilmore Girls, which ran from 2000 to 2007 and returned in 2016 for a Netflix reboot.
