Los Angeles is known for its flavor—different cultures, different backgrounds, all reppin’ the same city. And recently, the streets have been loud with protests, as folks from every corner showed up and showed out for justice. Stepping up right with them? The Game and a few celebs seemingly came through with love for LA’s immigrant community.

The Game Speaks Out Amid L.A. Protests

Rapper The Game has always kept it ten toes down—and when it comes to social justice and riding for the community, it’s apparently no different. And, in a heartfelt Instagram post, he expressed his unwavering support for the brown community in Los Angeles, stating:

“Ever since I could remember… it’s been black & brown in this city. From the early days of my childhood til now, we’ve been side by side through it all. All of us. All the time. Not always seeing eye to eye but we’ve shared Los Angeles for a very long time.”

Also, he continued by emphasizing the strength found in unity:

“I stand with y’all like I know you’d stand with us.”

The Game’s message was sealed with lyrics from Tupac’s ‘To Live And Die In L.A.’ and underscored the apparent, deep-rooted bond between residents in the city.

    The Internet Reacts With Support

Social media wasted no time chiming in after The Game’s post hit timelines. Many users praised him for seemingly standing in solidarity with the immigrant community, calling his message powerful and citing realness. Others even highlighted the importance of allyship, all in The Shade Room Instagram comment section.

Bambi & Erica Mena Join In

Reality star Bambi, known for her role on ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,’ also made headlines when she returned to Los Angeles to participate in a protest against ICE. In a video posted to social media, Bambi seemingly walks down the street as smoke rises in the distance. She can be heard saying, “This is…downtown L.A. right now,” and added, “These are people I grew up with,” as she spoke about joining the protests.

Additionally, she was joined by her former castmate, Erica Mena. In a separate video, Bambi walked with Erica, who carried the Mexican national flag, as they appeared to cheer in solidarity with fellow advocates.
