Abolfazl Saber Mokhtari, 54, breaks his own record for holding most spoons on his body — Guinness World Records

Iranian man Abolfazl Saber Mokhtari broke his own Guinness World Records by balancing 96 spoons on his body.

While breaking record for the third time, he said, “I can stick any object to my skin.”

Abolfazl first claimed the record for most spoons balanced on the body in 2021 with 85 — smashing the record of 64 that came before it.

Then, he broke his own record in 2023 with 88 spoons, and returned again this January with his new total of 96.

The 54-year-old man was seen in a video of his attempt, standing topless while a very patient assistant circles him, adding spoons as she goes.

Abolfazl held as still as he could, but the odd spoon did fall to the floor.

His helper happily repositioned them, expertly arranging the spoons for maximum coverage.

When she ran out of spoons and declared the attempt over, Abolfazl celebrated by flexing his biceps, sending the silverware crashing down.

Abolfazl previously told Guinness World Records that he had accidentally discovered his unique talent when he was a child.

“But after multiple years of practice and effort, I was able to strengthen my talent and develop it to where it is now,” he said.

“Anything, I mean it, any object. Anything that has a surface I can stick to my body, such as plastic, glass, fruit, stone, wood and even a fully grown human.”

Abolfazl believes his unusual talent works because he can transfer energy from his body into an object.

He explained: “I can transfer this energy I have in me to [the objects] as long as I can touch and feel them, I push myself then to focus as much as possible on the objects on my body, and that’s how I do it.”

“I focus on whatever I am trying to stick to my body, making me capable of transferring my energy and power to them.”
